So I have always wanted to be able to shoot nighttime timelapse footage (one of the main incentives to buy this d5100 for me) and last night at 3 AM the sky cleared out and I tried to go for it. Here are 9 seconds worth of my very roughest results. While I am not expecting to have my inbox filled with film contract offers as a result of this work, I am very happy with what this camera can do!
